Altea Update: Jul 12

Welcome to your weekly distillation of all the best from Altea.

This week, you’ve got another investor field trip to peruse and five deals to close out 2024, but they’re only available to Altea members.

Lots to cover, so let’s get to it.

New Deals

Alts 1 is Open

After a strong few quarters, we’re opening Alts 1 to new investors [Announcement here].*

Obviously, we’re biased on this one, but it’s worth considering if you want a wide variety of alternative assets that are reasonably uncorrelated to broader markets.

If this is your sort of thing but don’t want to do all the due dilgence yourself, I encourage you to:

Check out the prospectus.

Watch the Q&A session.

If you’re ready, you can also

Or book a call with me to discuss.

* If you’ve already invested and want to double down, please stand by. We’re busy porting over your previous commitments to the new platform.

Future Deals

We’re pulling together our deal offerings for the rest of 2024, and I can’t tell you how excited I am.

Investor Field Trips

Nashville – October 2024

Stefan has been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest the last couple of weeks, and he’s racked up a number of outstanding speakers and hosts for our Nashville trip this October.

Each of the above is top-notch, but Andrew Hall, the guy who books talent for Cannery Hall, is my personal favorite.

Cannery Hall is an iconic venue in Nashville that has hosted every rock, blues, and country legend you can think of. If they’ve not played Cannery Hall, it’s because the venue wouldn’t accept them.

  1. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
  2. ZZ Top
  3. Lynyrd Skynyrd
  4. Red Hot Chili Peppers
  5. Pearl Jam
  6. Willie Nelson
  7. Emmylou Harris
  8. Johnny Cash
  9. Dolly Parton
  10. Merle Haggard
  11. B.B. King
  12. Buddy Guy
  13. Bonnie Raitt
  14. John Lee Hooker
  15. Muddy Waters

Andrew will show us around the venue, and we’re working on VIP access to one of the shows that week.

RSVP early and often.

Jalisco, Mexico – February(ish) 2025

After the resounding success of this year’s trip to Jalisco, Mexico, Altea is planning another this winter.

We’re getting to know the area pretty well, and we’d love to introduce a new flock of Alteans to the region and (hopefully) see a few familiar faces from this year’s trip.

It’s early days, but please register your interest if you want to be kept in the loop.

That’s it for this week. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please shout.

Cheers,

Wyatt, Stefan, and John
