If you activate your membership and don’t think you’ve got value out of Altea within three months, we’ll gladly refund your fee.

Lots to cover this week, so let’s dive in.

Platform Improvements and Updates

DealDesk, our database of live deals in the alternative assets space, is nearly ready.

DealDesk is where you’ll find dozens and then (soon) hundreds, then (eventually) thousands of alternative deals that are searchable, sortable, and filterable based on whatever criteria you want.

We’re squashing the final bugs before releasing it in the wild.

And

We’re already working on the next big release: Deal Desk Pro.

Deal Desk Pro works like this:

Step 1: Receive an email with a deal that you’re interested in but don’t want to deal with right now.

Not now, Russel.

Step 2: Tag it with the “Send to Deal Desk” label.

Step 3: Deal Desk Pro automagically sends the sponsor a note back asking them to add the deal info to our database

Step 4: The sponsor adds their deal to Deal Desk

Step 5: All the deal info is whisked into your database. If you’d like, you can make the info public to share with others (and others can share with you).

These are very early days, and we need beta testers. As and if this becomes popular, we’ll add new features, make the interface slicker, etc.

Click here if you want early access to test it out.

New Deals

We’ve been holding off on bringing new deals to you guys as we wrap up the four that are already live:

  • Art II (wrapped up next week)
  • Tequila I (wrapped up next week)
  • Alts.co Equity raise (closing June 30)
  • Alts I Capital Raise (portal opening for investment ASAP)

There’s still some space in the Alts.co Equity raise, and we’re continuing to gather expressions of interest for Alts I. Let me know if you’d like to get involved with either.

In addition to the great stuff already on the platform, we’re kicking around a few ideas for summer. If either or both tickle your fancy, please click the link adjacent to let me know.

I’m well aware we need to move away from booze and art (or do we), so please smash reply to let me know what sort of deals you’d like to see.

Investor Field Trips

We should have a page put together for the Nashville trip soon. We’ve already locked in some killer guests and speakers.

Nashville

A music-themed investing adventure to Music City, USA.

  • Est. dates: October 21 – 25
  • Est. cost: $7,000 – $9,000
