🎓 New Course

🎬 How to Invest in Film Bridge Lending

We’ve just published our first-ever course: How to Invest in Film Bridge Lending

You’ve probably noticed that gap financing for Hollywood films is becoming a very important and lucrative part of what we do. But we know there is lots of confusion out there.

So this course is designed to rapidly get you up to speed on how this world works, and be your first step towards investing.

Course overview

Film bridge loans are a niche corner of private credit where short-term loans are backed by tax credits and contractual receivables.

This course walks through where the opportunity comes from, how deals are structured, the underwriting process, the collateralization, and a clear due diligence framework for evaluating deals.

There is a short quiz at the end. Est time to complete: 15 mins.

Want to invest in film bridge loans?

This is your first step.

These are serious institutional-grade opportunities. Demand is high, and you need to qualify before investing.

1) Step 1: Take this course and pass the quiz. 2) Step 2: Fill out a short Qualification Form. 3) Step 3: We’ll confirm your accreditation status and send you an NDA to sign.

What you get after completing

After passing the quiz, you get:

  • An invitation to participate in our film bridge lending deals
  • Confidence in knowing you are ready to invest
  • +150 points in our Rewards Program

We hope you enjoy learning about this fascinating world.

💬 New Discussions

  • If anyone’s interested in the indie London theater scene, Andrew Adamides knows an Edinburgh Fringe play that’s setting up for a London run, and is seeking a small investment to complete their budget.

“Arcola are co-producing and providing 60% of the budget. April’s company Launch Box Productions will provide the remaining 40%. They are just seeking a final GB £10k to complete.

Investors recoup from pound one of box office returns and get a share of profits in proportion to investment, pro-rata/pari-passu with Launch Box.” Andrew

“Look, I’ll say this: Dealmaker, MorningBrew, and the cabal of high-volume, finance-adjacent newsletters cover their bases well. They check the right legal boxes, the way they operate is above board.

Here’s the problem: They don’t do their homework… The companies they work with are…simply the ones who pay to play. That’s it… Zero due diligence is done. It’s basically just take the money, run the ad, rinse, repeat.

But I don’t think going after Dealmaker is the right move here. Dealmaker is basically just a broker. They sit in between the companies and the publishers. Ultimately, it’s the publisher’s responsibility to do due diligence.”Stefan

“The interesting thing is that even if a household buys a security from another household, the level of deposits as a share of wealth in a country remains the same. So, I think something else is going on here outside of the usual ‘risk aversion’ explanation.” Brian Flaherty

“The largest shipping groups have told customers they reserve the right to invoke a 19th-century rule to allow them to leave containers at the nearest available port at their client’s expense.” Florian Resch
