This topic of AI in finance and specifically agentic AI is so fascinating.
I came across a paper where a group from UCLA and MIT created a multi-agent framework where a TEAM (!) of AI agents, each playing a different role, simulated the functions of a trading office.
The AI team performed their specific tasks, then discussed/debated trade positions in Magnificent 7 stocks.
This team trounced a buy & hold strategy and multiple simple-rules strategies (technical indicators).
