💬 New Discussions
- Aziz Sundjeri‘s latest real estate tool visualizes undervalued neighborhoods across the US.
- Lucas is exploring how DIY investors think about diversification in private equity (like Republic’s Witz Ventures SPV, and asks how many deals it takes to achieve solid returns.
- Florian notes that VC/PE success lies at the extremes: mega-funds or focused specialists.
“On the one hand you have the mega gazillion USD asset managers basically creating their own markets (the a16z and Sequoias of this world)
On the other hand bottom-up oriented, concentrated and more entrepreneurial specialist verticalized approaches.
Obviously there is a ton of survivorship bias, and a long timeline to look at, but the funny thing is there is data showing both approaches can be successful.” – Florian Resch

The way I see it, Miguel is building the Kentucky Bourbon Trail for Tequila.
