(another) Pair of Kobe Bryant Sneakers

Hello, Welcome to the Sports Memorabilia Insider – FREE VERSION.

Today we are looking into a pair of 1996 Game-Worn Kobe Bryant Sneakers that IPOs on Thursday, September 16th at 8 PM ET at Collectable.

Kobe Bryant 1996 Rookie Season Sneakers

About the Asset

This is a pair of game worn and signed Kobe Bryant sneakers from his rookie 1996-97 season, specifically photomatched to a November 13th, 1996 game against the Spurs — the 7th game of his career. They are a black and white pair of Adidas sneakers. The sneakers are signed with his full name and inscribed. Collectable is leaning on the idea that these sneakers might be the same pair he wore in his first road game, though that is unconfirmed.

It most recently sold for $26,400 last December at Goldin auctions and was photomatched at that time.
