James Joyce: Ulysses (Matisse Signed)

James Joyce’s Ulysses is one of the best and most controversial novels of the 20th century. Henri Matisse produced the original illustrations for Ulysses, even though he had not read the book. This is said to have angered James, and as a result, he stopped signing the books. This resulted in only 250 copies signed by both Joyce and Matisse.
