Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Apollo 13 Snoopy

This is an Omega Speedmaster chronograph that was used by the Apollo XIII astronauts to time a 14-second maneuver necessary to return safely to Earth when an oxygen tank exploded during their mission. This example is one of 1,970 Apollo XIII Silver Snoopy Awards released to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the supposed third moon-landing mission. Omega received the Silver Snoopy Award from NASA in 1970 for its role in saving the lives of the crew.
