At Auction
It’s a quiet week at auction for comics, though there are a couple notable issues to keep an eye on:
- Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 2.0 (first Iron Man). Ends next Monday. Good value under $8k.
- Amazing Spider-Man #300 CGC 9.8 (first Venom). Ends Saturday. $8,500
Notable
The new Superman will be bisexual. LBGTQ superheroes have been quite rare historically, and this is a pretty big deal. It’s a good opportunity to pick up a few issues at retail price ($3 to $4), get them graded, and either flip them or hold on as a long-term investment. There are three cover variants, so either pick a favourite or go for the set. Shop for Superman Son of Kal-El #5.
