Jackie Robinson 1953 Topps PSA 8

About the asset

This is a PSA 8 graded copy of a 1953 Topps Jackie Robinson baseball card. There are 69 PSA 8s in circulation with nine graded higher.

While not his rookie, the card is significant as the number one card in the set. Robinson also had a fantastic year in 1953, hitting .329 with 95 RBI and 109 runs scored.

The black bottom edge is especially tricky on this one, and it’s subject to significant chipping. Unfortunately that’s the case with the specimen up for IPO with Collectable, though its centering is much better than you’d usually expect with this set.
