What is the Walter Payton 1976 Topps PSA 10?
This is the rookie card for Walter Payton, longtime NFL player for the Chicago Bears. Graded PSA 10, there are only 50 others like it.
It IPOs on Rally Road 9th March.
Cultural Relevance
Walter Payton held the NFL rushing record for 15 years until Emmitt Smith broke it in 2002. He remains second on the all-time rushing list behind Smith. He is also tied for first for most interceptions thrown by a non-quarterback with six.
Frank Gore, who is intent on playing forever, may pass Payton this year (or next).
Payton is fifth in the all-time rushing TD books behind Smith and three others. No one active is anywhere close to him.
Payton died in 1999 of complications from a rare liver disease.

What is the Floyd Mayweather Jr 1997 Brown’s Boxing PSA 10?
This is Mayweather’s earliest known card, and most collectors consider it to be his true rookie. There are 49 graded at PSA 10.

Cultural Relevance
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. retired from the ring with an unmatched 50-0 record after holding championship titles in five different weight classes. He was the main attraction in several of the most heavily anticipated and highest-drawing bouts in his sport’s history, including memorable face-offs against Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor.
Considered by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer in history, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is still the biggest name in boxing.

The PSA 10s don’t trade very often, with Otis purchasing this one in January for a slight discount to the IPO price at $36,900. Prior to that, a PSA 10 sold in November 2020 for $15,100.
A PSA 9 sold at auction end of February for $11,100, which implies around a 3.25 multiple to the PSA 10. This seems reasonable.

What is the Jayson Tatum 2017 Panini Flawless vert RPA /5 PSA 10?
This rookie card contains both a patch of game-worn jersey and an autograph from Jayson Tatum. Rated PSA 10, it’s the only one of its kind with that grading. There are a total of five of these cards.
It IPOs on Collectable 10th March.
Cultural Relevance
Selected third by the Celtics in the 2017 draft, Tatum is a rising star in the NBA. Playing in his second All Star game last night, Tatum scored 21 points on 9-for-16 shooting.
