About Tiger Woods

Eldrick “Tiger” Woods is one of the best golfers to have ever played the game. He’s tied for first in total PGA tour wins and is second in Majors. He’s also one of the most famous athletes in the world.

He was the dominant force in professional golf during the first decade of the twenty-first century. He was ranked number one for 545 of the 590 weeks from August 1999 to October 2010. In 2009, he was the first professional athlete ever to earn more than $1B in his career.

During this stretch of his career, opponents actually played worse when in a tournament with Woods than the did when he was absent. They had so little chance of winning, they didn’t bother to try.

The decade following was riddled with personal problems, scandals, injuries, and comebacks. He finished the decade well, though winning the Masters in 2019 — his first Major in eleven years.

Woods suffered catastrophic leg injuries during a one-car accident February 23, 2021. These injuries will keep him away from the game for the foreseeable future — potentially years — while he regains the ability to walk again, much less play at the top of his game once more.ays.

About Donovan Mitchell

Still considered a prospect, Donovan Mitchell plays shooting guard for the Utah Jazz. Drafted as a lottery pick in 2017, he’s already been selected to two All-Star teams and was a member of the NBA All-Rookie first team. He wears #45 in honor of Michael Jordan.

His Jazz are on their way to the second round of the NBA playoffs to face the Clippers, and a deep run there would certainly help his status. He averaged 28.5 points per game and nearly six assists in the first round.
