The Car Crowd – Call for Commits

It’s that time again.

Time to fish or cut bait.

We’ve had nearly $1.5m of interest in The Car Crowd’s Ferrari collection, and if we get $525,000 worth of commitments, we’ll put together an SPV to make it happen (what’s an SPV?).

(make sure to read through to the end for something new we’re doing 👇)

The Deal Basics

  • Investment Size: ~$500k to $550k depending on currency fluctuations
  • Investment Minimum: $10k
  • Deal Duration: 4 years
  • Management fees:
    • Altea members: 0%
    • Non-members: 10%
  • Carry: 10%

Review the deal memo, which includes a thorough interview with the sponsors.

Oh, and one more thing

For the first time, we’re arranging an onsite diligence trip for this SPV* to view the cars.

The cars are in Nottingham (yes, that one), north of London. The diligence trip includes:

🚕 London airport transfer if needed

🚄 First-class return rail from London to Nottingham

🥩 Lunch in Nottingham

🍛 Dinner in London (curry in Brick Lane, anyone?)

🏨 Overnight accommodation at the fabulous Landmark Hotel

The total cost will be around $1,500 depending on transfers, if you need a second hotel night, etc.

RSVP via the commits link

*Subject to demand, hotel availability, and so forth. We’ll make it awesome.

We aim to finalize commits and reservations soon, so don’t dawdle.

Any questions, please shout.

Cheers,

Wyatt
