Today I’ve got some cool news to share about Altea, our community for serious alternative investors.
I usually keep Sunday Editions focused on markets, investment ideas, and unique financial topics. I try not to be too self-promotional.
But every now and then, there’s a story about our own evolution that’s too important (and too fun) not to share.
And today is one of those days.

Altea Spring Meetups = Success! 🌸
In addition to investing in exceptional private deals, Altea members also get access to our investor trips — luxurious, life-changing, week-long travel experiences.
If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ve no doubt heard about our big trips to Mexico and Nashville.
(And yes — we’re planning another big one in Las Vegas next March. More on that below!)
This year, we’ve also started adding more local meetups — smaller, half-day events that are more accessible and affordable.
As you may have seen, Wyatt hosted not one, not two, but three of these meetups last week: In New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
These meetups are a fantastic way to connect with fellow Alteans and learn from some of the best alternative investors in the world.
But there’s just one problem:
They’re still only available to Altea members — and we realize not everyone can swing a full membership.
So we’ve decided to introduce new membership tiers.
Altea is expanding 🥂
Altea is fundamentally about three things:
- Private investments. This is the cornerstone of what we do.
- Online community. We now house public and private spaces in one community.
- Real-life events. Including local meetups and multi-day trips.
There’s a lame widely overused saying across the alternative investing industry; that it’s all about “democratization.”
Now, I am absolutely not a fan of this phrase, because I despise clichés which sound good but are ultimately meaningless.
However, while democratization isn’t the right term for the mainstreaming of alternative investments, expansion certainly is.
Over the past year, some community members have told us they’d like a way to participate in Altea in a “lightweight fashion.” Some have capacity to invest in just one deal per year. Others are new university graduates; eager to invest in deals, but burdened by student loans.
So today, we’re expanding Altea by introducing three new membership tiers:
Altea Gateway
What is Altea Gateway?
Altea Gateway unlocks access to our investments, community, and resources — ideal for investors starting their journey.
Think of this as the logical entry point into Altea.
In addition to unlocking all paywalled content, you now get access to all Altea investments, perks, and private spaces within the community. This is perfect for investors who want essential access to Altea (and don’t mind paying reasonable management fees).
What you get
- Access to all Altea SPVs
- 2% management fee, 20% carried interest on SPVs
- Access to all private community spaces
- Access to member perks and partner discounts
- Join one free local meetup per year
- Unlimited access to all content (no paywalls)
Restrictions
- Cannot invest in oversubscribed deals (waitlisted if full)
- Not eligible for investor trips
Price
- $500/year (Try it for one month for $99)
You may notice this option is very similar to the All-Access Pass — and you’re right. The All-Access Pass is going away, and is being folded into Altea Gateway.
Effective immediately, everyone with an All-Access Pass now has Altea Gateway — no action required.
If you were on the fence about joining Altea, start with Gateway. You won’t be able to join investor trips, but this will let you invest in deals.
Your first month is just $99.
Altea Base
What is Altea Base?
Altea Base is for serious investors ready to go deeper. It offers lower fees, priority access, and full event participation.
This is the standard Altea membership.
You get reduced fees on investments, ensuring membership easily pays for itself after just a few investments.
What you get
- Everything in Gateway, plus:
- 1% management fee, 20% carried interest on SPVs
- Priority allocation in all deals
- Unlimited access to local meetups
- Eligible to join investor trips (pay-per-trip)
Price
- $2,500/year (Try it for one month for $99)
Existing Altea members will be grandfathered in. Your existing prices & investment terms will remain the same
Join Base if you know you’re going to invest in at least a few deals each year, and want to join our investor trips.
Just like with Gateway, your first month costs $99.
Altea Black
What is Altea Black?
Altea Black is for high net worth investors seeking more. It has no SPV fees, lowered carry, guaranteed allocations, free trips, and exclusive perks across the Altea network.
This is Altea’s most valuable tier.
There are no management fees on investments, reduced carry, and all sorts of other VIP benefits.
What you get
- Everything in Base, plus:
- 0% management fee, 15% carried interest on SPVs
- Guaranteed allocation in all deals
- One free investor trip per year (Altea covers the cost)
- One free Alts.co sponsorship per year
- VIP access at Altea events
Price
- $10,000/year
Join Black if you’re planning on investing in multiple deals, want massive fee savings, free investor trips, free sponsorships, and red carpet treatment all year long.
🎰 Las Vegas Altea Trip — March ’26
After the success of this week’s local events, we’re planning a big meetup in Las Vegas in March 2026.
This will be held Mar 19-22, 2026 — coinciding with both March Madness and a WSOP circuit event.
All Altea Base and Altea Black members are invited to attend.
(Altea Black members join for free.)
Details
- March 19 – 22, 2026
- Thursday & Friday daytime: Roundtable discussions, investment opportunities, and briefings
- Thursday & Friday nighttime: NCAA basketball, meals, shows, drinks
- Saturday & Sunday: Golf, poker, helicopter tours, and more NCAA basketball
Cost
The package includes a hotel, food, drinks, and extras.
Price depends on the hotel category you’d like:
- Basic: New York, New York or equivalent – $2,000 – $2,500
- Premium: Wynn or equivalent – $4,000 – $5,000
- Luxury: Aria Sky Suite or equivalent – $8,000 – $10,000
Again, this trip is free for Altea Black members.
