Trading & Index Performance: Jan 10

Welcome to the Fractional Trading & Index Update for 10th January 2022.

This is one tight email with all the analysis and insight you need to make informed decisions on the fractional secondary markets:

  1. The Fractional Index
  2. Our weekly picks

What is the Fractional Index?

This is the world’s first index that tracks the performance of all IPOs across Rally, Collectable, and Otis since inception, and gives individual results for each platform.

And it’s exclusive to subscribers.

Fractional Index for January 10, 2022

2022 is off to a slow start

For the first time, we’ve added the Alts index performance to our weekly updates (we were off 0.9% last week against the broader benchmark of -1.3%).

The details of our picks are just for insiders only, but here’s a quick overview. We currently have 47 active assets with a Buy Recommendation, and of those, over 40% come from the Rally platform:

Pretty even overall.

Sports cards and comics comprise a majority of our picks on an asset-weighted basis, and video games have nearly been eliminated over the last few months.

Sorry about the font size. Nothing I can do.

You know that with an Insider subscription you have access to our analysis of every fractional IPO, giving each one a Yes or No recommendation.

Based on those recommendations, we also launched the Alts Index.

The good news: Since February 1st 2021, we’re up 424%

The picks are beating the market by over 400%

Last week’s changes to our recommendations

Just one change last week as we bought the dip on a blue chip pokemon card:

  • 1999 Pokémon 1st Ed Shadowless Holo Blastoise PSA 10 on Otis @ $3/sh

Our inferred value for this card is north of $100k, which makes an easy buy.

Weekly Winners and Losers

Weekly Winners and Losers

Performance by Asset Class

Another poor week for Playstation Games as its only representative, a copy of Grand Theft Auto on Rally, continued to tumble. NFTs, not known for their subtlety, continue a quiet march upward.

A mixed bag last week with more declines than advances

Trading this week

Twenty new assets open for real-time trading this week on Rally. Nothing new on Otis or Collectable yet.

  • I own shares of the Domaine Dujac

Assets we think are undervalued

Some great opportunities this week on Rally

Assets that may be overpriced

I don’t know why anyone would want a watch with a Domino’s logo on it
