Bulls championship ring set of six

What is the Asset?

Wyatt first wrote about these rings back at his old site here — while a lot has changed in the market since last December, it does give you a good rundown of what the asset is. In short, this is a complete set of championship rings from all six of the Bulls’ titles in the 1990s originally given to security guard John Capps, who was featured in the Netflix documentary The Last Dance.

This originally IPO’d on Christmas Day 2020 with 30000 shares at $10/share for a market cap of $300,000. It has only traded once since then, on April 20th and fell to $8/share (market cap of $240,000). Rally originally bought them for $255,480 on October 25th, 2020. It begins trading again Tuesday, August 10th from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST.

Past Asset Growth

As mentioned in Wyatt’s article, there was a complete set that went for $221,000 in February of 2020, so it saw some appreciation in the time before Rally’s purchase and has seen further appreciation since.
