About Michael Jordan
He’s the best to ever play the game.
Recent sales history and Valuation
the most recent sale of this card was at auction via Goldin on March 8th 2021. That’s was Rally’s purchase. If we discount that by 10% to account for the Fractional premium, that comes out to $38,880.
To adjust for price movement since then, we can look at this week’s other MJ IPO, the 1987 Fleer card. They have similar values, more or less. That one’s declined by 21% since early March, so we should apply the same discount to this card.
Inferred value is $30,715
Verdict
We wouldn’t invest in this drop based on valuation.
